This 1950s bungalow will see the addition of a new upper floor. A new external staircase will link the two commercial units. A heat pump will be installed for energy efficiency, and the flat roof will feature solar panels. On one side of the sloping site, a new two-storey building will be constructed, with one residential unit on each floor. The basement unit is built into the hillside, with its living room at ground level, opening directly onto the lower back garden. Both residential units will have large windows that create a seamless connection with the garden.
